Interactive Sword Coast Map Issue

Message par delidog »

Hello,

I know a lot of the forums is in French and I do not know how to speak French but I noticed a couple small errors in the Sword Coast Interactive Map which I believe are also present in other interactive maps.

I noticed that for the on-foot travel time, it goes up to 16 hours before it calculates 1 full day of travel. Previously it went up to 8 hours because a full day's travel while on foot should be only 8 hours. Also, the interactive map is missing horseback travel time. I was curious if these things were errors that could be fixed? I am also including a pasted piece of information from the interactive map's own information tab to clarify the parts that I am referring to.

"The application takes into account 8 hours of walking, riding on horseback or on a rowboat per day."

Thank you!

Hi there,

It was 8h, but indeed now it's 16h. This is because someone explained the following to me.

1 day is 24h. Let say that you sleep 8h per day, so you have 16h of activity per day.
When the rules says you walk 8h per day, it doesn't meant you wake up, you walk 8h, then you spend 8h to do something else, then go to sleep.
In fact during your 16h of activity, you walk, you rest, you eat, etc.
So now i take in account a proportional time during the day. In the first 8 hours you only walk +- 4h.

Sounded logical for me when the dude explained me that :ok:
But I'm open to debate.

It's not missing, simply horseback travel is same as on-foot travel according to the rules.
